Ram-On

Situated on the border with Jenin in the Palestinian Authority, Ram-On stands as a resilient community, home to 250 families that have held their ground for over 60 years. Since October 7th, our lives have been thrust into uncertainty, as we now find ourselves in a perpetual state of vigilance, guarding our community 24/7. Regrettably, we face these challenges without the proper resources and support.

Founded in 1961, Ram-On began as a commune before evolving into a workers’ settlement in 1963. Throughout the years, our community has demonstrated remarkable adaptability and resilience, with agriculture at its core.

Ram-On’s economic foundation has empowered local farmers, leading to the development of advanced farming practices in sectors such as flower cultivation and avocado production. We were pioneers in cotton mechanization and now lead in the cultivation of almond orchards.

The journey of Ram-On has been marked by tenacity, resourcefulness, and unity in the face of adversity. However, in our current circumstances, the need for support is paramount. We must ensure the safety and security of our community to prevent events like those that occurred on October 7th in Israel.
Your support can make a significant difference in our ability to protect and sustain our community. We are deeply grateful for your consideration and commitment to our cause. Together, we can overcome these challenges and build a brighter future for Ram-On.

Since October 7th, we have faced the unsettling reality of HAMAS terrorists approaching Ram On and opening fire upon our village. This alarming footage, captured by HAMAS terrorists, provides a stark glimpse into the challenging times we are enduring.

The translation from Arabic reveals that these attacks included assaults on one of our outpost resulting in injuries to our brave soldiers. These events vividly highlight the gravity of our situation.

Support Us

The State of Israel was surprised on October 7 by a terrorist organization seeking to destroy us. The standby units in the settlements around Gaza were called to guard their settlement and the flag. The standby units will be remembered in the history of the State of Israel as the first to stop the wave of terrorism that washed over the southern settlements on October 7.
